Exploring Phenomena: Teaching In Three Dimensions

In this conference, educators will explore ways to actively engage students in science practices that will deepen their understanding of science phenomenon.These practices are meant to increase student motivation and ownership of their content learning. Teachers will engage in interactive breakout sessions and gain the tools needed to transform their classrooms into an innovative and engaging learning environment.

Outcomes: Participants will:

1. Explore science concepts and practices to create classrooms that motivate all students to become producers of their own learning.
2. Deepen their understanding of 3-dimensional learning and gain tools to support an innovative and engaging classroom environment.
3. Learn strategies that support students to think critically and solve complex problems that impact their lives and local community.
