At this conference, educators will learn strategies for engaging students in deep historical inquiry that links the past to their lives.
During the conference, participants will:
- Engage in learning activities aligned with the New York State Framework for Social Studies and the Next Generation Learning Standards for Literacy.
- Explore strategies, including use of digital tools, to strengthen literacy skills through historical thinking.
- Apply inquiry-driven learning strategies, including use of the arts, to deepen student engagement, knowledge and retention of content.
